Typical Local Expeditions

When operating in Gauteng we could arrange day trips to the Magaliesberg mountain range for a quality rock experience or some good walking. These day trips could easily be extended to a weekend camping trip.

If a longer trip is required, then one could visit the Waterberg mountains a little North of Pretoria. The Mphumalanga Parks Board property, where the feeder river flows into the Loskop dam, is well worth a visit. Further afield are the Blouberg massif, the Wolkberg wilderness area and the sports climbing area in Watervalboven. If one wants to go higher there is the Northern and Central Drakensberg of KwaZulu Natal. If one uses Cape Town as a base there is Table mountain and its surrounds as the first port of call, followed by some of the most exquisite rock in the world in the Cape Cedarberg Wilderness area.
