Booking
African Mountain Adventures suggest that you first make contact with us via our enquiry form should you find the contents of our web site interesting. Should your requirements map onto one of our standard expeditions then we will communicate with you as to price, availability of space, description of expedition etc. Should your requirements lie outside our standard repertoire of expeditions then we will configure a special expedition to meet your requirements and then quote you. Should you decide to proceed in either of the above two cases then please make use of our booking form and forward this to our address together with a 10% non refundable deposit to confirm your reservation. African Mountain Adventures must receive the full expedition fee (less the deposit) prior to the expedition commencement date. Should African Mountain Adventures not receive the full fee by the expedition commencement date then African Mountain Adventures may, at its own discretion and without notification, be entitled to regard the reservation as cancelled and to re-book the vacancy.
Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory and you should arrange this in your country of origin prior to the expedition commencement date. You should provide for cover in the event of expedition cancellation or curtailment, death, any medical or rescue expenses as well as for the loss of any baggage, money or personal items whilst on the expedition.

Cancellation
Cancellation of any reservation must be received in writing and acknowledged by African Mountain Adventures. If a reservation is cancelled with or without the consent of African Mountain Adventures then African Mountain Adventures shall retain the full deposit. If you fail to join an expedition (for which you have a reservation) or join it after departure or leave it prior to its completion, no reimbursement whatsoever will be made.
Group size and age
Experience has taught African Mountain Adventures that a group size from six to ten persons is optimal. This allows us to provide a more personal service to our clients and we avoid invading and over populating a campsite. From an age viewpoint, groups are normally made up couples, individuals or sometimes groups of friends ranging in age from the mid teens to about 55 years. There will be exceptions outside this distribution but these will depend on the fitness level of the individual concerned.
Booking changes
If, after confirming your reservation, you wish to change to an alternative expedition/departure date, you may so do, subject to availability and by agreement with African Mountain Adventures. Should African Mountain Adventures not be able to accommodate your request and you therefore must cancel then the African Mountain Adventures cancellation clause will apply.
